The Saltiga Cuddler is a masterfully crafted lure built to swim true in all conditions and target all varieties of apex saltwater gamefish. Collaboratively brought to life by Daiwa pro angler Ryota Segawa and Daiwa's premier design team, the Saltiga Cuddler is purpose built for long distance casts with heavy braid and triggering vicious strikes. Segawa, known for painstakingly carving his own lures, overcame that slow production method through four rounds of development to create the perfect mold for rapid heavy duty ABS plastic construction. The carefully molded curves allow the Cuddler to perform in heavy surface chop just as it does in slick calm waters and achieves a bite-triggering dive and spiral pattern as the lure surges just under the water's surface.

The Saltiga Cuddler is weighted in the rear to add distance and maintain stability during the cast, even with heavy braid. A counterweight in the head of the lure moves freely left to right causing the spiral swimming pattern while The wing-like shape of the Cudder causes upward lift as the bait pierces the air, maximizing casting distance.
