For the first time Daiwa's POWERDRIVE DESIGN technology exits the Saltiga line to be shared with the new 26 Certate SW. The POWERDRIVE ENGINE within the reel sports a larger and thicker POWERDRIVE DIGIGEAR to increase power transfer and durability.
The POWERDRIVE ROTOR ensures that each turn of the handle translates into a smoother, more powerful retrieve, even under extreme pressure. POWER ROLLER OSCILLATION improves winding efficiency by 20% by reducing friction as the main shaft oscillates, making it easier for anglers to crank on big fish. 26 Certate SW continues the Certate SW legacy with its tough and rigid aluminum MQ body, MAGSEALED main shaft and line roller, integrated CRBB bearings, and ATD TOUGH drag system, all working together to provide premium performance and dependability anglers have come to know.

- MAGSEALED LINE ROLLER - One of the hardest working and exposed areas of a spin reel is provided with ultimate protection with a MagSealed line roller bearing shutting out the elements for optimum line roller protection, performance and longevity.
- MONOCOQUE (MQ) - MQ Body takes reel design to the next level. The MQ system does not require a body cover, instead using an engine plate to screw directly to the body. Eliminating the need for screws to hold a body cover in place. MQ body improves the strength of the reel, it also improves the water-resistance of the body and allows a larger diameter drive gear to be installed.
