Designed for anglers demanding unwavering performance, the revamped IMX-PRO BASS rods within the Bottom Contact lineup deliver technique-specific actions with exact tapers and the proper flex to maximize angler capability on the water, no matter the technique. Now featuring 25 technique-focused models, including 9 brand-new additions to the IMX-PRO BASS lineup, each rod is crafted for the experienced tournament angler who depends on precisely tuned tools to maximize winning patterns.
Driven by G. Loomis' proprietary TaperTec rod-building philosophy to fine-tune actions and maximize rod performance without excessive material, the redesigned IMX-PRO BASS series utilizes a new high-modulus graphite construction to boast optimized weight and strength. Designed and rolled entirely at our facility in Woodland, Washington, this combination produces lighter, more sensitive rods that deliver effective results. Every model in the revamped IMX-PRO BASS lineup is equipped with a tangle-free Fuji Alconite guide train incorporating refined guide spacing to promote smoother, more efficient line flow and reduce line-to-blank contact, enhancing casting distance and sensitivity. The IMX-PRO BASS lineup now features split grips across all models except MBR, which are lighter and more ergonomic, providing enhanced angler comfort. The IMX-PRO BASS series leverages a custom carbon-infused CI4+ reel seat to provide a lighter, more responsive hand-to-blank connection. Spinning models in the lineup feature uplocking reel seats with a custom cork palm swell foregrip design for improved comfort and performance, while casting models feature cigar-shaped profiles to reduce pressure points and enhance ergonomics, ensuring a secure and comfortable grip during grueling days on the water. Gunmetal anodized hardware and additional composite bands enhance durability with elevated cosmetics. Finished with a clean matte-black blank, black wraps, and gunmetal trim, the revamped IMX-PRO BASS series brings a premium look and feel on and off the water.
