The Talica is the pinnacle of the small lever drag 2-Speed market. Designed from the ground up to be an excellent casting reel with an ultra-smooth and powerful drag system to handle long battles. These reels were purpose built to take advantage of modern braided lines such as Power Pro Hollow Ace and shorter fluorocarbon leaders. We offer the Talica in 11 different sizes to tackle a variety of offshore fish from the football size tuna, to record setting class pelagic species.

I bought the Talica 10 because I wanted to try the Lever Drag system on a reputable reel for a trip on the Atlantic. This real doesn't disappoint. In the beginning I had to practice using it to prevent birds nest. Once I was over that bump it was a work horse. Paired it with the Trevala rod and the setup is now my go-to for offshore and occasional surf. I will be adding the Talica 12II soon, along with the Terez for those trips where the monsters come out to play.
